Quiet city park near the Allegheny River. Toy can sit here, but not much else.

There's a statue there of a man who died in the very first battle of the Revolutionary War, who never set foot in the town that was named after him. What's more, the locals like to walk their dogs there, but seem less keen on cleaning up after them, which is a shame because the park is looked after and otherwise well taken care of. You can almost see the river from the park, although in order to get to it you have to travel to a different park through the city. Traffic drives by on all sides, making it noisy in the afternoon, and dangerous (although boring) to bring children to. The only real notable thing about the park is that it's where the judges stand for the Fourth of July Parade, and even then it's extremely crowded and unpleasant to be at.

I love the fact it had flowers a water fountain and give some historical facts on a plate

Blink and you'll miss it. This park is literally just a wedge of land in a triangle of streets.

Just gave it 2 stars because it's small. Stopped because I was traveling thru and Joe Warren is one of my favorite Revolutionary War heroes. Took a pic of his statue and a monument with names who served in the Revolution and War of 1812 of those who served from Warren County. Also monuments from other wars.

Beautiful place

I know that this review seems harsh, but there are far better parks in the area (and close to this one), so unless you're a history buff or just need a place to sit down there's no real incentive to visit. This park should remain open for much-needed greenery in the city, but that doesn't mean you have to go there.
